2011 NBA All-Star Game

The NBA All- Star Game in 2011 took place in Los Angeles on February 20, 2011. The 60th All-Star Game was held at the Staples Center, home to the Los Angeles Lakers and the Los Angeles Clippers. The two clubs were regarded as official host of All- Star Games. The award of the All- Star Games to Los Angeles was announced on 9 June 2009 by Commissioner David Stern. It was after 2004, the second time that the All-Star Game took place at the Staples Center, and after 1963, 1972, 1983 and 2004, the fifth time in Los Angeles.

The team from the Western Conference won with 148:143 against the team of the Eastern Conference. Kobe Bryant was elected with 37 points and 14 rebounds for the MVP of the All- Star Games. LeBron James had 29 points, 12 rebounds and 10 assists, the second player after Michael Jordan, who scored a triple -double in an All- Star Game.

Coach

Head coaches of the two All-Star teams are traditionally the two coaches, whose team leads the respective Conference two weeks before the game. T -Mobile Rookie Challenge

The T-Mobile Rookie Challenge will take place in the framework program of the NBA All-Star Weekend.
