Brücken, Kusel
Bridges (Pfalz ) is a municipality in the district of Kusel, in Rhineland -Palatinate. It belongs to the municipality Schoenberg Kübelberg.
Geography
The place is in Ohmbachtal in the Western Palatinate. To the north is Ohmbach, northeast Steinbach am Glan and Börsborn, in the south Schoenberg Kübelberg and west is Dittweiler.
Parish council
The council consists of 16 bridges in council members, who were elected at the municipal election held on 7 June 2009 of personalized proportional representation, and the honorary mayor as chairman.

Economy and infrastructure
Bridges was the economic center of the Palatine diamond cutter craft before the Second World War. The diamond cutter Museum in bridges are original work from different times and regrinds of the 35 largest and most important diamonds in the world. Outside the museum there is a statue of a diamond cutter, designed by the sculptor Peter Lustadter Brauchle.
Traffic
The place is connected by the federal highway 423 ( Mandelbachtal - Altenglan ) to the inter-regional traffic. To the south is the A 6, A 62 northeast the In Glan- Münchweiler is a railway station of Glantalbahn.
