Buttigliera Alta
Buttigliera Alta ( Piedmontese Butijera or Butijera Auta ) in Piedmontese is a municipality with 6417 inhabitants ( 31 December 2012) in the Italian province of Turin (TO ), Region Piedmont.
Neighboring municipalities are Caselette, Avigliana, Rosta and Reano. Patron saint of the village is St. Mark.
Geography
The village lies at an altitude of 414 m above sea level, about 25 km west of Turin at the beginning of the Susa Valley. The municipality covers an area of 8.25 km ².
Attractions
Special interest is founded in 1188 Romanesque abbey Sant'Antonio di Ranverso.
