Coreno Ausonio
Coreno Ausonio is a municipality in the province of Frosinone in the Italian region Latium, located about 1656 inhabitants ( 31 December 2012). It is located 140 km southeast of Rome and 62 km southeast of Frosinone.
Geography
Coreno Ausonio lies in the Ausoni on the slope of Monte Maio (940 m). It is a member of the Comunità Montana L' Arco degli Aurunci.
The nearby towns are Ausonia, Castel Forte ( LT), Castelnuovo Parano, Minturno ( LT), Santi Cosma e Damiano ( LT), Spigno Saturnia (LT) and Vallemaio.
Traffic
Coreno Ausonio is on the Via Ausonia, SS 630, of Minturno to Cassino, linked to the Italian highway network.
