Dalldorf

Dalldorf is a municipality in the district of Lauenburg, in Schleswig- Holstein.

Geography

The community Dalldorf located between the state road 200 and by the Stecknitz ( Delvenau ) formed border to Mecklenburg- Vorpommern between the larger towns of Lauenburg and Büchenberg. The municipal area is intersected by the river Elbe -Lübeck Canal and the railway line Lübeck- Lüneburg.

History

The village was mentioned in Ratzeburg tithe register of 1230 as Dalthorp for the first time in a document. Next to the village there was a commodity that was from the 12th century until 1715 as Kunkellehen owned by the family of Dalldorf. For possession of Dalldorfs included the Good Wotersen. After 1715 there was a large number of changes of ownership. In 1933 the estate has been settled and is now only preserved as Resthof. The mansion is in its foundation date back to the family of Dalldorf. The village has always been dominated by agriculture, although today only three farms have been preserved in full-time employment. After the construction of the Wall in 1961 the site was deposited in Zonenrandgebiet. The breakpoint on the railway line Büchenberg - Lauenburg was abandoned. In 1989, the concrete bridge over the Stecknitz was reopened in Mecklenburg Zweedorf.

Policy

Of the nine seats in the municipal council has the CDU since the local elections in 2013 five seats and voters Community ADW four.
