Elysium (Pet-Shop-Boys-Album)
Elysium is the eleventh studio album by the Pet Shop Boys. It was released on September 7, 2012 with Parlophone.
History
The Pet Shop Boys began in February 2011 in Berlin over a period of five weeks, the pieces of writing for the album. The most part, but it was written during the Progress Live tour with Take That from May to July 2011. Finally, it was recorded from January 2012 within three months in Los Angeles with Andrew Dawson. To cooperate with Dawson came after had Neil Tennant and Chris Lowe Dawson heard work for Kanye West. Lowe compared the album emotionally with Behaviour.
Reception
Sven Kabelitz of Laut.de called the album " a sensitive, strotzendes before age wisdom album" and awarded four stars out of five.
