Groß Luckow
Great Luckow is a municipality in the district of Vorpommern - Greifswald in eastern Mecklenburg -Vorpommern ( Germany ). The municipality is part of the Office of Uecker -Randow Valley with offices in the city Pasewalk.
Geography
Great Luckow is situated on the border with Brandenburg in a wavy ground moraine. The area is predominantly agricultural. The distance to the city Pasewalk is twelve kilometers to Strasburg (Uckermark) about five miles. To the west of the municipality lies on the border of the Land of Brandenburg Demenzsee.
History
The Good Great Luckow was from 1198 to 1945 in the family of Raven.
On July 25, 1952 Great Luckow was removed together with other municipalities from the Brandenburg until 1945 the Prussian district Prenzlau and assigned to the circle Pasewalk in the district of Neubrandenburg.

Transport links
South of Great Luckow leads the federal highway 20 over. In the neighboring Blumenhagen consists rail connection ( route Neubrandenburg - Szczecin ).
