Groß Sarau

Great sarau is a municipality in the district of Lauenburg, in Schleswig- Holstein.

Geography

Great sarau lies on the west bank of the Ratzeburger in Lauenburg Lakes Nature Park. Districts, in addition to large sarau even good Tüschenbek (formerly part of the independent Office Tüschenbek ) Nädlershorst, brick Horst, Roth Husen, Hornstorf, Small sarau and Holstendorf. The Blankensee belongs with its southern half of the municipal territory.

History

Incorporations

On 1 December 1971, the amalgamation of the former municipalities and small sarau Holstendorf was.

Policy

Since the local elections of 2008, the voters Community ABG has all eleven seats in the municipal council.

In the list of cultural monuments in the United sarau are registered in the list of monuments of Schleswig- Holstein cultural monuments.

Traffic

Federal highway 207 Old Salt Road still leads through the village and crosses north of Lübeck- Blankensee the Federal Highway 20 (Junction United sarau ). In Roth Husen initially led the only bridge between Luebeck and Ratzeburg on the Wakenitzrestaurant to Mecklenburg- Vorpommern. This was demolished in 2008 and is currently (2009 ) is replaced by a new building.

The end of 2006 reflections were first loud, to build the new bridge over the Wakenitzrestaurant at Nädlershorst to enhanced accessibility of the trails between the Mecklenburg neighboring community Luedersdorf with the northern edge of the Schaalsee and the Lauenburg Lakes Nature Park again. From Lübeck to Roth Husen of Drägerweg runs as a hiking trail along the floodplain of the Wakenitzrestaurant lowlands.

Leisure

The weekend resort Schanzenberg is the sailing center on Lake Ratzeburg. The sailing center Schanzenberg houses the summer bases of the three Lübeck Lübeck sailing clubs Sailing Club, Sailing Club and sailors Hansa Club Wakenitzrestaurant. The bathing area of the municipality at the Great Lake Ratzeburg is monitored during the summer months of the DLRG.
