Charles Castle is a municipality in the district of Vorpommern - Greifswald. The community is managed by the Office Züssow based in Züssow. The community is located south of the county town of Greifswald.

Geography and transport

Charles Castle is located about 18 kilometers southeast of Greifswald and about 15 kilometers northwest of Gützkow. Through the community, the B 109 and B 111, which intersect near the hamlet Moeckow run. History

Karl castle

Karl castle was first documented in 1300 as " Gnatzkow ". Since the place was only much later renamed Gnatzkow in Karl Castle, this entry is considered the first official mention. Moeckow Mountain was first mentioned in 1928 as " Möckowberg ". Zarnekow
