Luka (Česká Lípa District)

Luka ( German hatches ) is a municipality of Okres Ceska Lipa in the Liberec Region in the north of the Czech Republic.

The farming village is 6 km south of town, ( Hirschberg at the lake) on the plateau between Daubaer Switzerland and grief Mountains. 5 km northeast of the striking Velky Bezděz ( Bösig ) rises with its highly visible castle.

History

First written records about the Slavic settlement date from the early 15th century. Luka was gepfarrt after Bezděz, and the archbishop of Prague Zbynko Zajíc Hasenburg confirmed in 1410 the Augustinian Canons on the Karlshof their rights for Luka. However, the Augustinians did not belong to the entire village; two farms were conscripted Bösig the castle and were eventually sold.

During the 16th century Luka attained power Bösig in Hirschberg.

Southwest of Luka, on the edge of the mountain ranges of Daubaer Switzerland, there was the old fort Tyn, the most recently belonged to the forest Steinem and around which the settlement was Tyn. 1912 hatches had 30 houses, and in the accompanying Thein stood around the Grange still 14 houses. The on the Thomas Berg ( Tomášův vrch ) located above the ground Hausker houses of Belsko were also part of hatches.

In the village there are a grocery store and a small pub; Companies are not established. On the weekdays, four times a day a bus to Doksy.

Community structure

The municipality consists of the villages Luka ( hatches ) and Tyn ( Thein ). For Luka also includes the monolayer Kbelsko ( Belsko ).
