  • 0752: Stephen II was elected Pope, after his predecessor Stephen died four days after his election, without having received the orders.
  • 1322: With the Papal bull Quia nonnunquam raises Pope John XXII. that of his predecessor Nicholas III. arranged to ban discussion, thus opening up a new controversy over the ideal of poverty of the Franciscans. He also opposes the " heresy of the Spirituals ".
  • 1824: In the Zirkumskriptionsbulle Romanorum Pontificum Impensa creates Pope Leo XII. for the relations of the Church with the Kingdom of Hanover legal bases, ranging up to the present time.
