Neißeaue

Neißeaue is the easternmost community in Germany. It is located in the Saxon district of Görlitz between the small town of Rothenburg / Upper Lusatia and the county town of Görlitz on the border with Poland. The municipality, located in the district of Great Krauscha belongs to the administrative Association White Schoeps / Neisse.

Neißeaue located in the extreme east of the district in a wooded area in Neißetal. It is located about 10 km north of Görlitz, 10 km southeast of Niesky. Community structure

The municipality was formed Neißeaue new July 1, 1995 as a political and economic management unit. Their predecessors were large communities Krauscha ( with New Krauscha ), cold water ( with small Krauscha ) and Zodel. History

Community partnership

Neißeaue maintains a partnership with the Polish community Pieńsk, which is located on the opposite bank of the Neisse. Traffic
