Pamětice

Pamětice ( German Pamietitz ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic. It is located seven kilometers north of Boskovice and belongs to Okres Blansko.

Geography

Pamětice located at the southern foot of the Podorlická pahorkatina ( Podorlicko ) in the Bosko brázda. The village lies in the source basin of the creek Pamětický creek. To the west, the Hora rises ( 544 m) and in the northwest of Nad Amerikou ( 553 m); the hills are also called Pamětické Mountains. Two kilometers to the east is the route of the unfinished Reichsautobahn Vienna -Breslau.

Neighboring towns are Drvalovice in the north, Vanovice and Svetla in the northeast, Mořicův Dvůr Šebetov and Knínice u Boskovic in the east, Vážany, Sudice and Pastvisko the southeast, Bacov and Hodiška in the south, Vísky in the Southwest, America and Andělka in the west and Kochov and Dvorsko in the northwest.

History

Pamětice emerged in the 12th century as a square group of four properties. After Paměta, one of the business owners, the settlement was named as Pamětice. The first written mention in a deed of the Olomouc bishop Jindřich Zdík over part of Pamětice to the monastery Litomyšl from the year 1145 has proved to be a later forgery. Secured is a mention of the 1233. In 1295 the monastery Litomyšl Pamětice sold, to the parish on the Vyšehrad. Since 1384 with Benešek Pamětice of the resident of the village Vladikengeschlecht detectable. Part of the village since the 14th century belonged to the Lords of Boskowitz. Since 1547 the entire village belonged to the rule Boskovice. In hooves register of 1677 are reported for Pamětice 14 houses and nine other properties. The oldest town seal of Pamietiz dates from the year 1735. During the 18th century the village was substantially expanded. West of the historic town center, known as Dědina the group of houses Příhon arose behind it in the forest, which consists of eight Chaluppen settlement America. To the east, the group of houses Hreško was created. 1793 was the site of 43 houses and 197 inhabitants had. 1843 lived 217 people in the 40 houses of the village.

After the abolition of patrimonial Pamětice formed in 1850 a municipality in the district team Boskovice. In 1900 the village had 258 inhabitants. With the beginning of 1961 Pamětice was assigned to the Okres Blansko. Between 1986 and 1990 Pamětice was incorporated to Letovice. The community started in 2001 a coat of arms and banners. Today Pamětice consists of 88 residential buildings.
