Passwang is a mountain ridge and Lookout ( 1,204 m above sea level. M. ) in the Swiss Jura, in the canton of Solothurn, between Mümliswil and Reigoldswil.

The same 20 km long mountain pass, known as Passwangstrasse, west of the ridge that connects the Laufen and the Schwarzbubenland about Thiersteiner communities Büsserach, Erschwil and Beinwil with Balsthal, the foot of the Jura, and thus also with the Swiss Mittelland. The road reaches an altitude of 943 m above sea level. M. and moves at its head the craggy Jura chain in a 200 m long tunnel.
