Piaggio P.9

The Piaggio P.9 was a passenger aircraft of the Italian manufacturer Piaggio Aero Industries.

History and construction

The Piaggio P.9 was a single-engine high-wing strutted with an enclosed cabin and a conventional tail. The aircraft had a non- retractable spur wheel chassis and was designed by Piaggio for the civilian market. The wood-built machine first flew in 1929 and was driven here by a 56 kW Blackburn Cirrus II piston engine.
