Pölich

Pölich on the Mosel is a municipality in the Trier -Saar castle in Rhineland- Palatinate. It belongs to the municipality Schweich on the Roman wine road. Pölich is a nationally recognized tourist.

History

Pölich was like many other places on the Moselle the Abbey of St. Maximin in Trier. In a document of 1140 confirms Pope Innocent II of the Abbey possession. At this time of Kanzlerhof recalls in the main street. He was the estate of Maximiner. The house is dated to the year 1578.
