Rapotín

Rapotín ( German Riding village) is a village in the Czech Republic. It is located about four kilometers northeast of Šumperk and belongs to Okres Šumperk. The community is a member of the Association of Municipalities Svazek obcí 's Valley Desne.

Geography

Rapotín located at the foot of the mountain Rabenseifener country ( Hraběšická Highlands ) in Schönberger boiler. The village extends to a length of eight kilometers on either side of Desna in the confluence area of the Losinka, Merta, Rejchartický Brook castle Velké Losiny until after Šumperk. History

At the same time 84 residents were arrested by the Gestapo. Until 1945 the village belonged to the district of Moravian Schönberg. On May 5, 1939 Petersdorf were incorporated at Tess and Weikersdorf, thus, the population had risen to 6998. Between 1945 and 1946 carried out the expulsion of German residents and the resettlement of Czechs. 1948 Rapotín was incorporated into Šumperk, this was 1951, after protests of the inhabitants undoes. With the suppression of the Prague Spring on 21 August 1968 the Polish army marched into Rapotín and kept the place open until August 23. 1985 Rapotín was again turned down by Šumperk. Since 1990, the community is again. In 1997 the railway line Petrov nad Desnou was - Kouty nad Desnou heavily damaged by a flood and then rebuilt.
