Saint-Jean-de-Minervois
Saint -Jean -de- Minervois is a municipality with 145 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) in France and is located in the department of Hérault in the Languedoc- Roussillon region. Saint -Jean -de- Minervois is part of the Association of Municipalities Communauté de communes du Pays Saint- Ponais. The village lies at the foot of the Causse du Larzac, near the Montagne Noire. The residents of the community are called Saint- Jeannais The municipality is part of the Regional Natural Park of Haut Languedoc. Part of the agricultural land is used for growing grapes and vineyards are located within the protected designations of origin Minervois and Muscat de Saint -Jean -de- Minervois.
