Sorel-Tracy Éperviers
The HC Carvena de Sorel - Tracy (English Sorel - Tracy Carvena ) are a Canadian ice hockey team from Sorel - Tracy, Quebec. The team plays since 2010 in the Ligue Nord - Americaine de Hockey.
History
The GCI de Sorel - Tracy were founded in the summer of 2010 as a franchise of the Ligue Nord - Americaine de Hockey. In this they took for season 2010/11 on the game mode. The franchise founders were six local shareholders, including the former owner of Royaux de Sorel, Jean -Guy Poirier and Roger Savard as a representative of the main sponsor GCI Environment, an industrial company. The new team fills the void created by the dissolution of the Mission de Sorel - Tracy was born in the city in 2008. For the 2011/12 season, a new main sponsor increased with the cleaning company Entreprises Carvena one in the franchise and this has been renamed.
