Sukhodilsk
Suchodilsk (Ukrainian Суходільськ; Russian Суходольск / Suchodolsk ) is a small town in the Luhansk Oblast in eastern Ukraine with about 20,000 inhabitants ( 2013), which belongs administratively to the municipality of Krasnodon.
In 1914, Based on the available coal reserves and the construction of a railway station the village Verkhnye - Duwanne arose (Ukrainian Верхнє - Дуванне ), that in 1972 was named Suchodilsk and the status of a city.
Geography
The city is located in the eastern Donets Basin about 40 km southeast of the Oblastzentrum Luhansk. The city Krasnodon is 3 km south of Suchodilsk and can be reached via the highway. Suchodilsk has an area of north to south by 3 km long from east to west and 4.3 km.
