T in the Park 2010

T in the Park 2010 was a three-day music festival, which was held from 8 July 2010 to 11 July 2010 in Balado, Perth and Kinross, Scotland as seventeenth edition of T in the Park. Headlining acted Kasabian, Muse and Eminem. Tickets for the event, which were offered on 26 February 2010 for sale were sold within ninety minutes.

Tickets

Similar to previous years were early bird tickets shortly after the completion of T in the Park 2009, dated 14 July 2009 to the following Sunday, for sale. Tickets remained on sale until the following Sunday The program included 180 artists and bands on eleven stages. Another ticket sales took place from December 4, 2009, the Festival tickets were offered at 2009 prices.

Tickets at the normal price came on February 26, 2010 in the sale and were sold out already that morning. The festival campsite has been extended to 5,000 spaces, although there was no increase in visitor numbers. The campsite was also as planned, already open on the Thursday before the event in order to reduce congestion at the arrival to the festival. One last batch of tickets came on June 4, 2010 in the sale and were sold out within five hours.

Program and Contributors

In an interview with the Perthshire Advertiser of 8 September 2009 mentioned Matthew Bellamy of Muse, they play at the festival in 2010 and said " I'm sure we'll be trying to get something, maybe T in the Park or maybe something else ". At a launch party on February 23, 2010, with subsequent appearance details of the festival were known. Muse and Eminem have been confirmed as headliners for the first and second day, and Kasabian as headliners for the last night. The T in the Park 2010 Festival was the first festival performance since 2001 and its debut at T in the Park for Eminem. On 9 March 2010 more bands have been announced as The Black Eyed Peas, The Prodigy and Madness were confirmed 1/New Musical Express stage for Friday, Saturday and Sunday as the headliner of the radio. Ten other artists, darunten Groove Armada and Sven Väth, were announced on March 23. On 14 April, the organizers confirmed the program for the Red Bull Bedroom Jam Futures Stage, including special " guests of honor ", and the headliners Echo & The Bunnymen, Julian Casablancas and Ash. Film Production

The feature film Rock in the Park was shot live at the T in the Park 2010.
