Todd County (South Dakota)

Todd County is a county in the state of South Dakota in the United States. The County is one of two counties in South Dakota, which have no official administrative center ( County Seat). The administration of Todd County, is located in Winner, Tripp County in the neighboring.

Geography

History

Todd County was founded in 1909, before there was another district of the name in South Dakota to the east on the Missouri River. The district was after John Blair Smith Todd, a delegate of the Dakota Territory in the House of Representatives of the United States and a general in the American Civil War, named.
