Troubky-Zdislavice

Troubky - Zdislavice is a municipality in the Czech Republic. Lies 14 kilometers southwest of Kroměříž and belongs to Okres Kroměříž.

Geography

The municipality is located on the left side of the Olšinka in the east of Littentschitzer mountain country. Southwest is the Mars Mountains and the highest point Brdo rises in seven kilometers away. By Troubky leads the state road 428 between Morkovice - Slížany and Zdounky.

Neighboring towns are Zborovice in the north, and Zdounky Těšánky in the east, and Lebedov Prachař the southeast, Honetice in the south, Hoštice in the southwest, and Slížany in the northwest.

History

The municipality was created in 1960 by the merger of the independent places Troubky and Zdislavice.

Troubky

Troubky in 1281 first documented owner of the place were the Schoch de Trubek. For a long time the place was divided into a Lehnsanteil of the diocese of Olomouc and the belonging to the reign Zdounky Allodialanteil. Since 1549, the Lords of Zástřizl as owners are detectable. 1869 lived 649 people in Troubek. Vicarage for Troubky and Zdislavice is Zborovice.

Zdislavice

The southwestern located Zdislavice be traced back to 1349 and also belonged to the lords of Trubek. At the end of the 17th century was a conversion of the old stone festivals to a castle. By 1840, the Zdislavice castle received its current appearance under the counts of Dubský Třebomyslice. Zdislavice had 412 inhabitants in 1869. 1887 was the reading club Zdislav which existed until the Second World War.

Between Zdislavice and Hoštice are the remains of wild celebrations Svárov.

Troubky - Zdislavice consists of the districts Troubky ( Troubek ) and Zdislavice ( Sdislawitz ).

Attractions

  • Castle Zdislavice. Inside the chateau will be auctioned in 1945 and have been shredded with numerous dedication copies in a paper mill, the library of the writer Marie von Ebner -Eschenbach. The castle was converted after 1948 to the House of Culture. Today, the castle is in a state of disrepair. Apart from the repaired roof are, inter alia, smashed windows and crumbling lion figures visible.
  • Grave lay the Count Dubský. Probably built after plans by Moritz von Ebner -Eschenbach, with the final resting place of his wife Marie von Ebner -Eschenbach.
