Viktor Markin

Viktor Fyodorovich Markin (Russian Виктор Фёдорович Маркин, English transcription Viktor Markin, . Born February 27, 1957 in near Novosibirsk ) is a former Soviet sprinter and Olympic champion whose special route was the 400 -meter run.

Markin began training in athletics at the age of 19 years, and up to the Olympic Games in Moscow, he was internationally known. On April 27, 1980, he ran a personal best in Sochi of 46.96 s Shortly before the games he improved his time to 45.34 s
