Žerůtky (Blansko District)
Žerůtky ( German Scherutek, formerly Zerutek ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic. It is located eight kilometers south of Kunstat and belongs to Okres Blansko.
Geography
Žerůtky located at the eastern foothills of the Bohemian- Moravian Highlands in Blanenský Prolom ( Blanzer pool). The village lies in the source basin of the creek Žerůtský creek. Northeast rise of the SPESE ( 368 m) and Maly Chlum ( 488 m ) in the east of Velky Chlum (460 m) and in the northwest of Marek (472 m). East of Žerůtky are the dams of the unfinished Reichsautobahn Vienna Wroclaw, runs behind the path to the R 43 / E 461
Neighboring towns are Lysice in the north, Pohodlí and Krhov in the northeast, Perná, Huť svaté Antonie, Obora and Klemov in the east, Bořitov the southeast, Býkovice in the south, Dlouhá Lhota in the southwest, Kozárov and Kunčina Ves in the west and Lačnov and Štěchov in the northwest.
History
The first written mention of the village belonging to the reign Lysice took place in 1353rd
After the abolition of patrimonial Žerůtky formed in 1850 a municipality in the district team Boskovice. After the dissolution of Okres Boskovice the community came with the beginning of 1961 to Okres Blansko.
