1914–15 NHA season
The season 1914/15 was the sixth regular season of the National Hockey Association (NHA ). Masters were the Ottawa Senators.
Team changes
The following changes were made before the start of the season:
- The Toronto Ontario changed their name to Toronto Shamrocks.
Mode
In the regular season, six teams each completed 20 games. The winners and runners run two playoff games against each other, the team became champion with the better goal difference from two games. For a win, each team was given two points, a draw one point and at a defeat.
Course of the season
Due to the outbreak of World War I fell audience and the salaries of the players were drastically reduced. A group of players to Art Ross threatened to start their own league, which is why Ross was ruled out by the NHA temporarily from the game, one finally agreed but still. During the regular season, the Ottawa Senators and Montreal Wanderers reached the same level, each with 28 points first place in the regular season. In the playoffs, Ottawa won the first leg 4-0 and sovereign could afford a 0-1 second leg defeat.

Stanley Cup Challenge
In the playoffs for the Stanley Cup, the Ottawa Senators the Vancouver Millionaires documents from the Pacific Coast Hockey Association in a best - of-five series with a sweep. The Millionaires were the first team since the founding of the PCHA could win the Stanley Cup.
