Vancouver Millionaires

The Vancouver Millionaires were a professional ice hockey team from Vancouver, Canada, which existed from 1911 to 1926. The 1915 team won the prestigious Stanley Cup.

History

In the first three years, the team had each exhibit a negative game balance. In the debut season of the team, especially the duo Newsy Lalonde and Frank Patrick, who also serves as head coach in charge of the Millionaires later dropped due to their Torgefahr very positive in appearance. The following year, Lalonde left the team and returned to the Montreal Canadiens. By 1924, the team was represented in the Pacific Coast Hockey Association, then in the Western Canada Hockey League.

The team wore their home games at the 10,500 -seat end Denman Arena, which was opened in 1911 and was destroyed in 1936 by fire.
