Portland Rosebuds (ice hockey)

The Portland Rosebuds were an American ice hockey team from Portland, Oregon. The team played 1914-1926 in the Pacific Coast Hockey Association and the Western Hockey League.

History

The franchise of the New Westminster Royals of the Pacific Coast Hockey Association was to Portland, Oregon, moved before the 1914/15 season and changed its name in Portland Rosebuds. In the league the team played as Rosebuds another four years before they became inactive. For the season 1925/26, the Portland Rosebuds were reactivated as a member of the Western Hockey League. When this league was disbanded at the end of the season also featured the Rosebuds finally a game operation.
