Regina Capitals

The Regina Capitals were a Canadian ice hockey team from Regina, Saskatchewan. The team played 1921-1933, among others, in the Western Canada Hockey League.

History

The Regina Capitals was founded in 1921 as a franchise of the inaugural Western Canada Hockey League. In this they played was total until the league disbanded four years. In the season 1921/22, the team won the championship of the WCHL. From 1926 to 1928, the Capitals competed in the Prairie Hockey League. Then the team was inactive for four years before it was reactivated for the season 1932/33, and moved into the once discharged Western Canada Hockey League. There they were at end of season to Vancouver, British Columbia resettled, and finished the season as the Vancouver Maroons. An eponymous team played from 1922 to 1926 in Vancouver.
