1972–73 Albanian Superliga

Kategoria e Pare The 1972/73 (in a sense: First League ) was the 34th of the Albanian Football Championship and was hosted by the National Football Association Federata Shqiptare e Futbollit. The season began in September 1972 and ended on 17 June 1973.

Course of the season

The league consisted of 14 teams as last season. 1971/72 were FK Tomori Berat and Studenti Tirana relegated from the Kategoria e Pare, for the new season came Apolonia Fier, which returned after a year of abstinence, and KS Besëlidhja Lezha, which also after relegation in 1971 immediately climb, add in the top flight. Titleholder was KS Vllaznia Shkoder.

The championship was played in a regular season with round-trip round. Each team met twice against every other team.
