1990–91 Albanian Superliga

Kategoria e Pare The 1990/91 (in a sense: First League ) was the 52nd staging of the Albanian Football Championship and was hosted by the National Football Association Federata Shqiptare e Futbollit. The season began on September 9, 1990 and ended on 12 June 1991.

Course of the season

The League was increased compared to last year again from 12 to 14 teams. In the season 1989/90 KS Besëlidhja Lezha was relegated from the Kategoria e Pare, for the new season came KS Skënderbeu Korçë and KS Traktori Lushnja who had both managed the direct re-emergence, and KS Kastrioti Kruja, which his first season highest in the Albanian Football League completed, added.
