1997–98 Eliteserien (Denmark) season
The 1997/98 season was the 13th season of the Elite series, the highest Danish Hockey League. Master became the overall ninth time in the club's history of Herning IK.
Mode
In the main round each of the ten teams played a total of 27 games. The top six teams qualified for the final round. All six participants in the final round and the seventh and eighth of the main round qualified for the playoffs, where the championship was played. For a win, each team was given two points, a draw there was a point and a defeat.
