2000 IIHF Women's World Championship
The 6th World Ice Hockey Championships for women in 2000 was held at the following locations and at the following times:

A World Championship
The tournament of the A group was held in Mississauga, Barrie, Kitchener, London, Niagara Falls, Oshawa and Peterborough in Canada. The finals were played at the Hershey Centre in Mississauga.
Canada remained unbeaten at the World Championships and won the sixth title in a row.
