2001 European Super Touring Championship season

The European Touring Car Championship 2001 season was the first European championship for touring cars since 1988. Were awarded titles in two classes, on the one hand for Super Touring Car and the other hand for Super Production cars. In the Super Touring two runs were run per season event in the Super Production cars only one.

The season consisted of 10 stations. European champions were the Italian Fabrizio Giovanardi in the Super Touring Car and the Dutchman Peter Kox in the Super Production cars.
