2005–06 Ukrainian Hockey Championship
The 2005/06 season was the 13th season of the Ukrainian Hockey League, the highest Ukrainian Hockey League. Master became the overall ninth time in the club's history of HK Sokol Kiev.

Mode
The twelve participants were divided into the main round in two divisions. The top three teams in the Division A qualified directly for the playoff semifinals. The fourth-placed Division A qualified for the pre- playoffs as well as the winner of the Division B. In the playoffs, the Masters was played. The HK Sokol Kiev as a participant in the Belarusian Extraliga was automatically qualified for the play-off final. For one victory after regulation time, each team received three points for a win after overtime two points in a match, it was a point and a defeat after overtime and after regular time zero points.
