2010 IRB Pacific Nations Cup

The Pacific Nations Cup 2010 was the fifth edition of rugby union tournament Pacific Nations Cup. It involved the national teams of Fiji, Japan, Samoa and Tonga. Between 12 and 26 June 2010, six matches were played, with each team once each competing against the other three. Five of the six games were played in Samoa, one in Fiji. The title was won for the first time Samoa. The defending champion of the previous year, the Junior All Blacks, no longer competed.

The points distribution was as follows:

  • 4 points for a win
  • 2 points for a draw
  • 0 points for a loss (before possible bonus points )
  • 1 bonus point for four tries in a match
  • 1 bonus point for a loss by fewer than seven points difference
