2008 IRB Pacific Nations Cup

The Pacific Nations Cup 2008 was the third edition of rugby union tournament Pacific Nations Cup. It involved the national teams of Fiji, Japan, Samoa and Tonga, as well as the last time the Australian Selection Team Australia A and the only time the New Zealand selection New Zealand Māori. Between 7 June and 5 July 2008 15 matches were played, with each team once each competing against the other five. The title won the New Zealand Māori.

  • 4 points for a win
  • 2 points for a draw
  • 0 points for a loss (before possible bonus points )
  • 1 bonus point for four tries in a match
  • 1 bonus point for a loss by fewer than seven points difference
