2011–12 Hessenliga

The 2011/12 season of Hesse League was the 34th season of the Football League Hesse and the fourth the fifth- highest league in Germany. The championship and promotion to the Regionalliga secured 1.FC Eschborn seven points clear at the KSV Baunatal. Due to the change in the Bavarian Football Association for 2012/13 season and the fourth-placed Viktoria Aschaffenburg rose, but in the Regionalliga Bayern.

The relegation zone occupied Rot-Weiss Frankfurt and Eintracht Wetzlar. On the relegation place went to the first FCA Darmstadt, but managed to avoid relegation there.

From the three seasons of the fifth division of Hesse SC Viktoria Griesheim, the FSV Braunfels and the Hünfelder SV and rose above the relegation round of the FC Eddersheim.

The scorer was Rene Huneck FSC Lochmaben with 27 goals. The SpVgg Hadamar played after the merger with the SC Rot-Weiß Niederhadamar the following season under the name SV Rot-Weiß Hadamar.

Relegation Round Hesse League

The Relegation denied the three regional league runner- TSV Lehnerz (North), FC Eddersheim (center) and Kickers Obertshausen (South) along with the 15th of Hesse League, the first FCA Darmstadt. After three days, in which each team once each met each other, eventually Darmstadt and Eddersheim prevailed. The FC Eddersheim rose to the Hessen League, during the first FCA Darmstadt reached the relegation. Obertshausen and Lehnerz remained in the fifth division.
