2011–12 TFF Third League

The Spor Toto Türkiye Futbol Ligi 3 2011/12 was the 11th season of the fourth-highest in the Turkish league professional men's soccer. She was started on 28 August 2010 with the first game day and completed on 25 May 2012, the final playoff encounters.

Competition mode

In the season 2011/ 12 3 Lig was played in contrast to the previous season as a dreeigleisige and zweietabige league as in the TFF. Furthermore, the overall team speed was increased from 54 to 57. These 57 team played in three groups, each with 19 teams to move up to the second TFF Lig or against relegation in the regional amateur league. The division of the league was not performed regionally specific. In the first stage, the normal league phase, were up all winners directly into the second TFF Lig, while the three last-place teams of all groups descended. The classification of the teams in the respective groups was determined by draw. Furthermore, it was also determined in the first table, which teams had qualified for the second stage.

In the second stage, the play-off phase, the last three climbers were determined by knockout system. The teams took on positions two to five of all three groups from the league phase of the play-offs in part. The teams that have qualified from a group for a play-off played in a separate designed for this group playoff track. The encounters of all three playoff tracks were played in neutral to all teams and cities and began with the semi-finals at. Each knockout round was played with an encounter. The teams ranked sixteen to eighteen alighted at the Regional Amateur League.

Composition of participants

The newcomers were taken from the then regional amateur leagues as a master and allowed to participate in the third TFF Lig.

Course of the season

League phase

Inegölspor, Kirklarelispor Hatayspor and ended the season as champions of their group, an increase directly into the second TFF Lig. Playoff phase

On reaching the table seats two to five to Bayrampaşaspor, Diyarbakır Büyükşehir Belediyespor, Hacettepe SK, Gümüshanespor skilled ( group 1), Keciörengücü, Belediye Bingölspor, Trabzon Yalispor, Kahramanmarasspor (Group 2) and Tarsus İdman Yurdu, Sancaktepe Belediyespor, Siirtspor, Bursa Nilüferspor (group 3) to participate in the playoffs.

The games of the first playoff track took place in Buca Arena and ended with the playoff victory Bayrampaşaspors, which ascended with this victory to the initial application time in their history.
