2011 Men's Hockey Champions Trophy
The 33rd Champions Trophy Men in hockey took place until December 11, 2011 in Auckland ( New Zealand) on 3. For the first time there have been two preliminary groups, of which the group winners and runners came into a new group, as the group last. Then there were knockout matches. In the end, won for the fourth time in a row Australia.
The tournament was originally supposed to take place in New Delhi, India. Since India has not managed to form a common hockey association for men and women - as required by the IOC and the FIH - the Trophy was moved to Auckland, New Zealand.
