2011 UEFA European Under-21 Championship qualification
The qualifying for the U -21 Football Championship in 2011 for the first time involve all 53 member associations of the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA ).
The final round was first awarded to Denmark, which is automatically qualified as an organizer for the round of eight teams. All the other 52 teams have to qualify in the preliminary round.

Mode
The 52 teams were in ten groups - eight groups of five and two groups of six teams - solved. The National selections wore their encounters with return game. The group matches in the period of 28-29. Discharged March 2009 to 7 September 2010.
The group winners and the four best runners-up were qualified for the playoffs for a place in the finals. These determined then in return game seven participants in the final tournament.
Performance of teams from German-speaking
Germany
