2014 Hopman Cup

The Hyundai Hopman Cup 2014 was the 26th edition of the tennis tournament in Perth, Australia. He was discharged December 28, 2013 to January 4, 2014. Defending champion was the team from Spain, who won last year in the final against Serbia 2-1. Spain retired earlier this year in the first round of Serbia posed no team. The finals contest the teams from Poland and France. While Poland has never reached the final of the Hopman Cup, it was the fourth start for France to win the title. In the final, the team from France, Alizé Cornet and Jo- Wilfried Tsonga defeated the Polish team and thus won his first title.

  • Flavia Pennetta had during their game against the Canadian Eugenie Bouchard to retire due to an injury and was replaced by Bojana Bobusic in mixed doubles.
  • Sloane Stephens had during her match against Czech Petra Kvitová the retire due to an injury and was replaced by Bojana Bobusic in mixed doubles.
  • John Isner could not start his match against Radek Stepanek of the Czech Republic due to an injury and was replaced by Milos Raonic ( in the men's game ) and Oliver Anderson ( in mixed doubles ) replaced.
