28th G8 summit
The G8 Summit in Kananaskis in 2002, from June 26 to 27, was that takes place in Canada 28th Summit of Heads of Government of the Group of Eight. The meeting was held under the chairmanship of the Canadian Prime Minister Jean Chrétien.
It related to the presidency of Russia in the G8, the G8 Africa Action Plan, additional funds for the Cologne Debt Initiative, education, economic growth, environmental protection and sustainable development, bridging the ' digital divide ' in the world, combating terrorism, travel and transportation security and regional crises.
