1st G6 summit
The G6 Summit was held to 17 November 1975 in Rambouillet (Region Ile- de -France ), France 15. Subsequent meetings were -. , By extension to Canada - meetings of the Group of Seven (G7, 1976-1998 ) and subsequently the Group of Eight (G8), with Russia this came as another participant
The meeting was the first of what is now known as G8 body. The follow-up meeting - the G7 summit in 1976 - took place in San Juan (Puerto Rico) as early as next year.
