24th G8 summit

The G8 summit in Birmingham in 1998 was the 24th Summit of Heads of Government of the Group of Eight. The meeting was chaired by the British Prime Minister Tony Blair from 15 to 17 May 1998. At this meeting, Russia was formally included as participants in the G8.
