- Servois Cornelius Maluginensis, Spurius Structus Servilius, Lucius Papirius Crassus, Servius Sulpicius Pretextatus Quinctius Cincinnatus Tiberius Capitolinus and Lucius Crassus Veturius Cicurinus be Roman military tribunes.
Eastern Mediterranean
- King Alexander II of Macedon was murdered at the behest of his brother Ptolemy of Aloros during a party. His younger brother Perdiccas becomes his successor; but since he is still a minor, Ptolemy is appointed as his regent.
- The Thessalian Thebes ask for help against the tyrant Alexander of Pherae. Thebes sends his generals Pelopidas, but which is captured by Alexander.
- Representatives of the Greek city-states found in Delphi to a peace conference. Since Sparta refuses however to recognize the independence of Messenia, no agreement can be found.
