50 cc Grand Prix motorcycle racing

The Coupe d'Europe 1961 was the forerunner of the introduced by the FIM from the championship season in 1962 50 cc class of motorcycle road racing World Championship, and was discharged as a European Championship. European champion was the later three -time world champion Hans Georg Anscheidt from Germany to Kreidler. A total of eight races were held.
