8th arrondissement of Marseille

The 8th arrondissement is an arrondissement ( district) of the southern French city of Marseille. 2008, there were 78 916 people.

The district is located in the southwest of the urban area. To the north it borders on the 6th and 7th arrondissement, in the northeast to the 10th and east to the 9th arrondissement. The Mediterranean Sea forms a natural border to the south and west.

The district is divided into ten Neighborhood:
