Arrondissements of Marseille
The city of Marseille is divided into 16 arrondissements municipaux, which in turn are divided into 111 districts. Do not confuse these with the arrondissements france wide administrative units with that name. Two arrondissements form a so-called sector (French Secteur ). The arrondissements created in 1946. Since the 1980s, its main tasks are performed by the sectors.
