Adam Hansen (born 11 May 1981 in Southport, Gold Coast (Australia) ) is an Australian racing cyclist.

Adam Hansen began his career in 2003 at the Austrian cycling team Graz Merida Arbö. In his second year he won the Burgenland - tour and the Grand Prix of Germany mountain itself. In 2005 he moved to Elk Haus - Simplon. Here he won the one-day races Vienna Lassnitzhoehe. 2006 Hansen drove the Continental Team Aposport crown Linz. This year he won the Lavantal cycling days, the Grand Prix Bradlo and Omya Classic. For the 2007 season, joined the German ProTeam T -Mobile, and remained in this or the successor team until the end of the 2010 season. In 2010 he joined the team Omega Pharma-Lotto and Lotto Belisol Team 2012 for the follow-up team.

Hansen, who scored his biggest success so far with a solo victory on the seventh stage of the Giro d' Italia in 2013, is a specialist in stage races and launched in August 2013 at the Vuelta a España in 2013 to its seventh "Grand Tour" in a row.
